The number of completed property mortgages last month increased 0.9 percent to 4,201 cases compared to December 2024, rising for the second consecutive month and hitting a five-month high, according to mReferral Mortgage Brokerage Services.

The number of presale mortgages was 396 cases, an increase of 23.4 percent from December 2024, rising for the second consecutive month. Compared with the same period last year, the number of completed property mortgages last month rose by 95 cases.

The number of presale mortgages increased by 299 cases, a rise of more than 300 percent. It was the first monthly record in nearly three years.
