Tam Jai International (2217) has announced a trading halt on its shares before the market opened.

This halt arrived pending the release of an announcement involving inside information related to the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

The restaurant operator's shares closed at HK$0.90 apiece yesterday.
