CK Hutchison’s (0001) AS Watson Group has appointed Clarice Au as its chief executive of retail Hong Kong.

Au will be in charge of overseeing the management of four diverse retail businesses in the city, namely Watsons, ParknShop, Fortress and Watson’s Wine, starting from March.

Au has been instrumental in driving digital transformation and advancing the growth of both the Fortress retail chain and the MoneyBack multibrand loyalty program, said AS Watson chief executive Malina Ngai Man-lin.

AS Watson China's revenue in the first half of 2024 slumped 23 percent year-on-year to HK$6.88 billion. It announced five personnel appointments in three months during the period, including Ngai.
